SPEAKER BIO
Emily Oberstis a silver medalist in wheelchair basketball from the Paris 2024 Paralympics and has been a member of Team USA for four years. She is currently training with a focus on winning gold at the LA 2028 Games.
A survivor of Ewing Sarcoma Bone Cancer, diagnosed at age 12, Emily is a passionate cancer advocate and adaptive sports ambassador. Emily is also a sought-after keynote speaker, sharing her story of resilience, perseverance, and achievement as an elite adaptive athlete and cancer survivor. She earned her Sports Management degree from the University of Illinois and now works as the Community Outreach Director for Wisconsin Adaptive Sports Association, where she helps grow inclusive opportunities in sport.
Off the court, she enjoys fitness, wellness, cooking, and fashion—especially athleisure—while continuing to inspire others through her commitment to excellence and community impact.
